MY VISION
Many people ask me why I chose to practice Family Law, as it can be a trying and emotional field of focus. My answer is simple: My time with my family is precious. I cannot think of a worthier cause than helping other families find stability and closure in what is often the most tumultuous time in their lives.
​
A large portion of my work involves protecting my clients' monetary rights, but I am most proud of the time I spend protecting the relationships between my clients and their children.
I do not take my responsibility to my clients lightly. Family Law matters, such as divorce or custody battles, can be daunting. I understand that clients need someone to talk to and more importantly, someone to really listen. I strive to be a solution for my clients, not another source of aggravation.

Ashlea has focused her practice primarily in the field of Family and Matrimonial law since 2010. She assists clients in all aspects of divorce and separation, as well as Family Court issues including paternity, custody, child support and family offense matters.
​
A major portion of Ashlea's work involves custody matters and she is a big proponent of helping parents, both fathers and mothers, in securing equal custody rights. Often times when people come to meet with Ashlea they are facing the toughest challenges of their lives and she is happy to help them transition as quickly and easily as possible.
​
Ashlea received her Bachelor of Arts from New York University and received her Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association and serves on the board of Women Lawyers of Western New York. Ashlea has been selected and named a Super Lawyer by the New York Super Lawyers, Upstate Edition, in 2021 and 2022 and was previously recognized as a Rising Star in Family Law each year from 2013 to 2020.
